Cluster Facilitator Appointed

Matt Nichols has been appointed by the Programme for the post of the Cluster Facilitator, starting at the beginning of October.

Matt has a strong background in training, moderation, communication and project management. He has been working with Interreg programmes and projects for several years.

Matt’s role will be to organise and co-ordinate the project clustering initiative, which is currently being organised by the Programme.

The aim of the clustering is to assist projects within and across priorities in identifying common issues considered valuable for the projects as well as the Programme. The Project Clustering concept was launched at this year’s Annual Conference in Stavanger, Norway. The launch was visited by more than 100 delegates.

Matt will facilitate the dialogue between related projects and ensure and emphasise the strategic inputs from the process. Once project cluster projects are developed and launched the facilitator will act as a sparring partner for the projects within these clusters.
