The NMU lead partner Transport Research Institute, Edinburgh organises in cooperation with the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers a seminar on "Maritime Transport Education & Training". The event will take place on 2nd March 2011, the interested public is invited to register now.

One of the best places to go and experience wildlife on the Norfolk Coast has had an architectural makeover! The RSPB Titchwell Marsh Nature Reserve on the north Norfolk coast has seen some major changes in the last 12 months. The latest phase of the project to protect the reserve against coastal erosion has certainly exceeded all expectations.

On 2-3 December, the Programme arranged a Communications Seminar in Billund, Denmark. Topics addressed included effective communications in intercultural environments as well as social media. Presentations from the event are now available online.
