The payment interruption to UK beneficiaries for projects under the North Sea Region Programme which has been in place since August 2011 has now been lifted.

The Programme will now be able to submit a claim for payment to the European Commission, including previously excluded UK expenditure which was subject to the interruption. This will be done as soon as possible and once the Commission has accepted and reimbursed the claim, payments will commence.
