An important goal is to offer free basic internet. The wireless network can be used for private initiatives but also for the specific needs of the city of Bruges. We chose for a solution on the base of the WIFI technology and standards.

Besides offering wireless internet to the citizen, the city of Bruges wants to increase a lot of applications through the same infrastructure.

The city of Bruges is searching for partners for this project: They will have the possibility to offer their own services on this installed network. Possibilities are: besides free basic services we can,  offer other services like faster internet, a webportal where commercial aspects could be included, ...

Concrete: besides thee basic free internetaccess and the possibility to fill in a few specific needs of the city of Bruges about networking, commercial activities can be runned.
