Second call: January - March 2016

2 Step Application Process
A new two-step application procedure has been put in place for the 2014 - 2020 period. This means that all project developers are first asked to submit an expression of interest. If this is approved, the project will receive a contract and can start work.
Step 1: Expression of Interest
Project applicants could submit expressions of interest in the second call. It was also possible to re-submit expressions of interest that were rejected in call 1.
Step 2: Full Applications
Project applicants with an approved call 1 expression of interest could submit a full application in the second call. It was also possible to re-submit full applications that were rejected in call 1.
- All applications had to be submitted through the VB online monitoring system.
- This call included the possibility to apply for State Aid under the de minimis rules and under Article 20 of the General Block Exemption Regulation (651/2014).
