To support SMEs in their export activities in foreign health care markets, the SHINE projectpartners organised end of September 2017 a trade mission to The Netherlands. The Flemish, Scottish and Dutch companies participating to the trade show in The Hague (NL) are looking back on a successful business event.

On 28 September, a delegation of more than 20 companies were taking part in the matchmaking event with Scottish, Dutch and Flemish companies.

The next day, a visit to the World of Healthcare congress at the Fokker Termnial in The Hague was scheduled. As part of this congress, the participants were taking part in a brokerage event to meet up with relevant parties with common interest.

In addition, the World of Healthcare hosted a workshop "From Health Challenge to Business", initiated by the SHINE projectpartners. At this inspiring session, Johan Bruneel (Flanders), Andrew Fowlie (Scotland) and Hanneke Molema (The Netherlands) shared their vision on the future of the health care economy (see presentations below) to an audience of more than 80 people.
